Mirai Attack Creators Prosecuted – And It All Started With Minecraft?
I realize I have posted a couple of deep tech stories already this week. And I also realize that many of you are here for personal and family security tips, not necessarily industry knowledge.
That being said, when huge security events happen it’s a good thing for all of us to know what’s happening – especially when those events affect our online lives (and sometimes our businesses as well).

The creators of the Mirai botnet were prosecuted this week. The Wired story is fascinating, and it does a great job showing the motivations, actions, and results of one of the largest security incidents of our time.
Minecraft? Holy cow.
