Are Smartphones Making Us Stupid, Addicted, Antisocial, and Unhealthy?

It’s clear that Smartphones have changed almost every aspect of our lives. But, are they making us dumber? Many experts seem to think so.

Here’s a fascinating article by The Globe and Mail, talking about smartphone addiction, health, attention span, etc.

I did laugh a bit while reading this. It’s a long article, and I found myself quickly scrolling through the section on decreased attention spans. Maybe they have a point.

It’s a weird issue. On one hand, I’m absolutely convinced that my smartphone is too much a part of my life. But on the other hand, I don’t know if I want to live without my smartphone.

Maybe I’m actually hooked. That’s certainly addict mentality.

How about you? Can you quit whenever you want to?
